Even though my background is in psychology, I didn’t discover hypnosis until after I received my doctorate at the University of Tübingen, Germany. During my college years, my special interest was the interdependence of body, mind and soul. Therefore, I conducted research in the field of physiological/biological psychology and developmental psychology. I was granted a doctorate degree in the field of prenatal and early postnatal brain development. This research led me to investigate further into prenatal and early postnatal psychology – how the early years can shape us for the rest of our lives. At the same time, I took the next step towards a deeper look into the motivation of human behavior and became a licensed hypnotherapist.
